Troy Firefighter Needs Your Vote to Win National Contest
From the CBS 8 Troy Newsroom-- A Troy firefighter is one of five finalists in a national contest to have his name on a NASCAR race, but he needs your help to win. Curtis Shaver is competing in Crown Royal's Your Hero's Name Here 400 at the Brickyard contest. If he wins, the NASCAR Sprint Cup series race on July 29 will be named after him. The winner will be determined by the amount of votes he or she gets. You can cast your vote by heading to the Crown Royal Facebook Page, and clicking on the "Crown Your Hero" button.
