A Troy man accused of raping two women on the same day is back in court for a previous crime.

Andre Ellis is in court today for a status call and change of plea on a theft of property charges from March of 2011.

According to an arrest report, Ellis used forged paperwork to get a $12,000 loan for a car he never bought.

Ellis is currently in the Pike County Jail facing two rape charges from earlier this year.

He will go to Grand Jury on July 31, and will be back in court in August for writing bad checks.
