A Troy man who police say raped two women on the same day in March now has a bond set.

According to Pike County's Circuit Clerk Jamie Scarbrough, today Andre Ellis's bond was set for $200,00 each for two rape first degree charges, $50,000 for a burglary second degree charge, $750 each for three negotiating a worthless negotiable instrument charges, and $10,000 for a theft of property charge.

Investigators say when Ellis was arrested in April, he did not make bond, because he did not appear in court for the negotiating a worthless negotiable instrument charges.

Scarbrough says Ellis will appear in court July 3 to try to reduce the rape and burglary bonds.

Police say Ellis raped two women, a former and current Troy University student, on March 26 within hours of each other in Hunter's Mountain Mobile Estates.
