From the CBS 8 West Alabama Newsroom-- Authorities in Lowndes County are investigating the disappearance of a set of 9 year old fraternal twins-- and the man who was keeping them for their mother. Investigators say twins were left in the care of 73 year old Jack Girdner of Lowndes County Sunday afternoon. They say when the mother went to pick them up at Girdner's home-- noone was there-- and Girder's 1988 white Mercedes Benz was gone. “You don't know if somebody kidnapped them, killed them, raped them, what? But I need them back, now,” said the twins mother Terrye Moorer. Investigators say nothing has been found so far-- that would indicate foul play-- but it hasn't been ruled out. Anyone with information call the Lowndes County Sheriff's Office at (334) 548-2151.
