Two Alabama Sheriffs Plan to Step Down After Serving State for Years

Two veteran sheriffs in our area say  they won't be up for re-election in 2014, leaving their position open for the first time in many years.

Montgomery County Sheriff DT Marhsall and Autuauga County Sheriff Herbie Johnson say they will finish their current terms but step down soon afterward.

By then Johnson will have served six terms in office and Marshall, four terms.
