Etowah County authorities say two women are charged with endangering their children with drugs.

Sheriff's officials say 24-year-old Amy Renea Hall of Rainbow City and 21-year-old Dylan Leann Entrekin of Gadsden are both charged with chemical endangerment.

Officials say Entrekin is a second cousin of Etowah County Sheriff Todd Entrekin.

A statement from the sheriff's office says Hall is accused of using Xanax and OxyContin during her pregnancy.

The statement says Dylan Entrekin is accused of using methamphetamine daily.

Both women are charged with felonies. A judge has scheduled preliminary hearings for each woman for next month.
