Two Schools Moving into Old Montgomery Mall

There's no word on what will happen to the current LAMP high school building.

Both schools are expected to be ready for students no later than the fall of 2015.

 

 

 

Two Montgomery Public Schools and the system's central office will soon have a new place to call home.

The Montgomery County School Board voted to allow the central offices, as well as the Montgomery Technical Education Center and Loveless Academic Magnet Program - or Lamp - to move into renovated spaces in the former Montgomery Mall.

LAMP will be located in the the former Parisians building, and MTEC will call be inside the old JCPenny's.

The site will include physical education facilities, a baseball field, and separate parking for the two schools.
