The president of the University of Alabama is speaking out on allegations of voter fraud by some university organizations.

University president Judy Bonner says the university cannot investigate the allegations until local and state authorities do.

Bonner wrote the letter to students to respond to charges that the school's greek organizations offered free drinks in exchange for votes.

A Tuscaloosa Board of Education incumbent who lost her bid for re-election to a recent UA graduate has filed a lawsuit contesting the election.
