We have an update on the arrest of the lowndes county school superintendent. Hayneville police officials held a press conference this morning. You may recall, Superintendent Daniel Boyd turned himself in to authorities Friday and bonded out of jail on 243 counts of reckless endangerment of minors. The charges come after a school employee accused of fondling a student -- was allowed to go back to work. Hayneville Police Chief Kelvin Mitchell confirmed at that press conference this morning that a child was fondled, and a school janitor was arrested. The child's mother attended the press conference this morning and expressed her frustration with the school system's handling of the incident.
