From Wetumpka--- Police are asking parents to be on the lookout for a man accused of exposing himself to a teenage girl at a park.

Chris Collum hasn't moved form this bench since he arrived at Gold Star Park Wednesday afternoon. He's keeping a close eye on his son who's playing on the jungle gym.

"We normally don't have crimes around here, so it's very concerning," he says while not looking away from the playground.

On Saturday night just before sunset, police say a Hispanic man walked into park, unzipped his pants, and exposed himself to a 15-year-old girl.

The flasher is still on the loose, which frightens these mothers.

"It's scary especially when you have children, and you come out here trying to have fun with your children," says parent Heather Kozlowski. "You have to watch your back or watch your kids 24/7 when you shouldn't have to."

Police say they are concerned, because the incident happened at a public park. A place that's known for being family-friendly.

"It's quiet. It's nice. It's peaceful. Kids come out here and play. People come to walk and exercise," says parent Amanda Thornton. "You shouldn't have to worry about nasty folks."

Police say they are following up on leads. Once they find the man, he will be charged with indecent exposure, which is a misdemeanor.  He will also have to register as a sex offender.

Collum says he will be on the lookout hoping to spot the flasher before he strikes again.

"I'm going to keep my eyes peeled," he says. "If I see something like that going on, I'm going to act accordingly."
