From the West Alabama Newsroom--  The Wilcox County Commission re-hires the same company it fired -- to manage the county water system.

Clearwater Solutions is back on the job -- running the county water system after about a month-long hiatus. The company resumed control over the operation of the water system this week.

"We're just proud to be back and serve the citizens of Wilcox County," said Clearwater Solution employee Angela Barge.

Water outages and other problems began popping up when the county took over the management of the water system after the company was fired.

"We found out that our water system was more complicated than assumed by most commissioners," said Commissioner John Moton.

Moton says Clearwater Solutions is working under the terms of the old agreement it had with the county. There are plans to negotiate a new agreement in November to allow three newly elected county commissioners to take part in that process.
