From the West Alabama Newsroom--  It's been more than six months since the body of a missing Wilcox County man was found in the Alabama River -- and his family is still waiting for answers.

Gregory and Jean Davis of Lower Peach Tree in Wilcox County say they don't know any more today about what happened to him than they did then. Their son Stephen went missing back in February -- and several weeks later his body was found in the Alabama River in Monroe County.

The couple says they've been going back and forth between the authorities in Wilcox and Monroe Counties for months trying to get answers.

"It's just a run around, somebody needs to step up to the plate and tell us something," said Jean. "Me and my wife we been going through it. We can't get him off of our mind. Somebody know what happened to my son," said Gregory.

Anyone with information that could help investigators - call the Wilcox County Sheriff's Office at (334) 682-9115 -- or the Monroe County Sheriff's Office at (251)- 575-2963.
