Candidates must have strong presentation and communication skills and must be service and detail oriented with the ability to set and meet goals. Must be motivated, detail oriented and a team player with a positive attitude. Direct sales experience required and a good driving record are required.     NEWS TECHNOLOGY COORDINATOR / PHOTOGRAPHER

    ALABAMA NEWS NETWORK (CBS-8, WAKA-TV, ABC MONTGOMERY, WNCF-TV) IS LOOKING FOR A NEWS TECHNOLOGY COORDINATOR/PHOTOGRAPHER.

    Primary Responsibilities include but not limited to over-seeing all technical aspects of news, assisting in the maintenance of video equipment, live operations planning, training and execution, reviewing all news technology as it pertains to News and recommend what new technology to use.

    Candidate will also shoot general assignment and special news projects.

    Must be knowledgeable and be able to operate Live Cast 4-G equipment for daily news broadcasts. Must be experienced in operating live microwave trucks and equipment.

    Proficient in final cut pro editing and delivering content through internet and FTP.

    At least two years television news experience.  College degree preferred.

    Alabama Telecasters, Inc. (ATI) is seeking a News Producer for the CBS affiliate, WAKA/CBS-8 in Montgomery, AL to work in our fast-paced local news organization. Ideal candidate must be a self-starter who will do what it takes to produce the news. Must know how to write, edit, plan and execute a daily newscast. At least one year experience as a news producer is required. A College Degree in Broadcast Journalism preferred.     WOLO-TV has an immediate opening for a full time sales assistant. Excellent computer skills are necessary. Must be skilled in all Microsoft Office applications and Publisher. Prior broadcasting or advertising experience and knowledge of Wide Orbit and One Domain will be part of consideration. Responsibilities include data entry, working on advertising schedules, answering phones and other general sales support duties. The successful candidate must be a detail oriented problem solver with the ability to multi- task and handle multiple priorities in a high energy sales department. Previous office experience preferred.
