    PROMOTIONS MANAGER / SALES ASSISTANT
    Alabama Telecasters, Inc. (ATI) is seeking an experienced Promotions Manager / Sales Assistant for the local CBS, ABC & CW affiliates, WAKA/ CBS-8, WNCF/ABC Montgomery, BMM / The Montgomery CW along with MeTV and The Heartland Network in Montgomery, Alabama. The candidate should have proven knowledge in television promotions, use of graphics, and the technical skills to deliver effective, creative, and compelling daily promotions for a group of television stations, to assist the Creative Services/Promotions Manager, and work closely with the Sales Departments. Television experience is preferred along with strong organizational skills, ability to take direction and then execute independently, and be deadline driven. Creativity is a must. Duties include but are not limited to:
    • Working with Managers to create and script all station and sales promotions; knowledge of final cut editing is helpful. Will monitor logs and stations to assure placement of promos.
    • Execute all on-air promotional campaigns, station events and sales/marketing initiatives and will place outside media and monitor placement and creative.
    • Work as a team with all Departments to assure the success of our Promotional and Sales efforts
    • Will be responsible for keeping 3 websites up to date and using all forms of social media to convey our Branding and Promotion efforts. Graphic Design Creativity is desired.

    Alabama News Network is seeking a Full Time Morning & Noon Meteorologist for the CBS affiliate, WAKA/CBS-8 and the ABC affiliate WNCF/ABC Montgomery in Montgomery, AL. Applicants should have a degree in Meteorological Sciences. Experience with Weather Central Live is preferred. Writing stories for our web site and communicating thru social media outlets and posting and sharing online is a must. Duties include anchoring daily live newscasts, reporting daily and produce sweeps stories assigned by management. Candidate must represent the company at community events throughout the coverage area. At least one year on the anchor desk is preferred.     PHOTOJOURNALIST:
    Alabama News Network is accepting applications for a Photojournalist position for the local CBS affiliate, WAKA-TV and the local ABC affiliate WNCF-TV in Montgomery, AL. We are looking for a team oriented, hard working, and multi-talented individual to cover daily assignments. The successful candidate should possess excellent videography, lighting and non-linear editing skills. Experience with HD Camera Operation and operating ENG equipment is a plus. This position also calls for previous experience operating microwave live trucks. The ability to lift and carry 40 lbs. equipment on a daily basis is required. Some college or technical school training preferred. This is a full time position and offers benefits.
