I am glad to serve the river region each day with accurate forecasts, protecting your family during severe weather with up to the minute coverage, and engaging a community as an active resident of the River Region.
Since the days of being the morning meteorologist here, I have been to 11Alive (WXIA) in Atlanta, my home town. As an Auburn graduate though, in aerospace engineering, I am happy to be close to Tiger country. I also received my Masters in Geosciences with an emphasis in Meteorology from Mississippi State Univ.
In addition, I have spent time working at WTOK in Meridian, Mississippi, KLKN in Lincoln, Nebraska, and WSAV in Savannah, Georgia.
As the leader of Alabama News Network's weather team, I assure you we are dedicated to bringing you a dependable and reliable forecast and around the clock coverage when severe weather threatens.
Aside from work, you will most likely find me at church, making memories with my husband, or reading a good book. I am honored to be a board member for Boys and Girls Club of the River Region and Lighthouse. I am acvtive member of Kiwanis and graduate of The Torchbearers Leadership Class III.
