The head of the Governor's Task Force on Illegal Gambling talks one-on-one with CBS 8 on the next move in the battle over bingo.

Despite the high profile shutdowns of Victoryland, White Hall, and Country Crossing, John Tyson says the Task Force's fight is far from over. Tyson says he will continue to press on with Governor Riley's anti-gambling movement until every illegal gambling machine is wiped out of the state.

Only one major gaming center continues to stand its ground today: Eutaw's Greenetrack is keeping its doors open, ignoring threats of a possible raid on their 1,500 machines. Greene County's Sheriff is also backing up the gaming center, vowing to block any attempted raids on Greenetrack.

Tyson says he will carry out any raids ordered by the Governor, prompting questions on whether a future raid on Greenetrack could turn violent.

"I hope that we can resolve it with conversation. We'll see. But if we have to do what we have to do, then we will," Tyson tells CBS 8 News.

As of Monday evening, Greenetrack remained open for business.
