Federal prosecutors say 10 men accused of illegally selling firearms at a Dothan area flea market have been arrested.
U.S. Attorney for the Middle District of Alabama George Beck says federal bureau of Alcohol Tobacco Firearms and Explosives agents started investigating after federal authorities were told that guns were being sold at Sadie's Flea Market.
Authorities say the market's organizers weren't involved in the firearms sales, which date back to at least October 2013.
Beck says undercover informants made purchases as part of the investigation. More than 200 guns and 500 rounds of ammunition were seized in the operation.
Authorities say the men were charged with selling firearms without licenses, selling firearms to convicted felons, and the sale of a firearm by a convicted felon to another convicted felon.
