Huntsville wrong-way crash injures 6 people

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (AP) — Police said a man driving the wrong way on a Huntsville highway caused a crash that sent six people to the hospital, including one person with life-threatening injuries.

Lee Thomas Mayne was accused of driving eastbound in the westbound lanes of I-565 on Friday night. The Huntsville Times reports (http://bit.ly/J7CTrP ) that he struck three cars. One person, 24-year-old Pranika Saiyasith, was seriously injured.

The wreck remains under investigation.
