Police charge Ala. woman in ex-husband's killing
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) — Authorities say a Northport woman is charged in the gunshot slaying of her ex-husband, who investigators say was killed after making an obscene gesture at her.
Tuscaloosa County sheriff's officials say 30-year-old Tracey Grissom was held on a murder charge in the killing of 28-year-old Hunter Daniel Grissom on Tuesday.
Sheriff Ted Sexton says the couple had a history of domestic violence.
Sexton says Grissom driving to work when she saw her ex-husband at a boat landing. She stopped to take a photo of him for litigation related to their divorce.
Sexton says several witnesses watched as the man made an obscene gesture and the woman opened fire. Authorities say the woman called 911 after using all her ammunition.
Court records show the couple has a child.
