Suspect in Prichard slaying in custody

PRICHARD, Ala. (AP) — Three of the four people sought in connection with a killing in Prichard are now in custody,

Prichard police said Saturday that 19-year-old Jessica Mitchell was in their custody on a murder charge.

Mitchell is one of the three people charged in the March 10 shooting death of Robert Savage. Police said Savage was walking with a woman when three men approached him, pushed him to the ground and shot him. Those men then ran off.

Toquin Robinson and Devonta Belfon were previously charged in connection with the slaying. Authorities are still seeking Tanisha "Cupcake" Jones, who faces a single murder count.
