MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) — A summary of action in the Alabama Legislature on Monday, the third day of the special session:

HOUSE:

—Approved new House districts supported by Republicans. Goes to Senate.

—Approved a bill to move part of the state's use tax collections from the education budget to General Fund. Goes to Senate.

—Approved a proposed constitutional amendment to allow the state to issue more bonds to pay incentives to new industries. Goes to Senate.

SENATE:

—Debated a Republican-backed plan for new Senate districts, but had a vote delayed by stalling tactics.

AGENDA:

—Senate meets at 7 a.m. Tuesday and House at 9 a.m. Tuesday.

—Senate Finance and Taxation-Education Committee meets at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in room 727 of the Statehouse.

—Senate Governmental Affairs Committee meets at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in room 727.

—House Constitution, Campaigns and Elections Committee meets at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Joint Briefing Room.
