Ala. troopers say crash kills 2 teens, injures 2

KIMBERLY, Ala. (AP) — The Alabama Highway Patrol says two teenagers are dead and two others suffered injuries in a crash in Jefferson County.

The Birmingham News reports (http://bit.ly/MqOjMW ) the crash occurred at about 1:30 a.m. Saturday on Morris Majestic Road in Kimberly.

Troopers say the wreck killed 19-year-old Joseph Hall of Trafford and a 16-year-old girl. Authorities said they did not release the girl's name because she is a minor.

Authorities say both of teens killed were passengers in a car driven by 19-year-old Jordan Carden of Morris. He was taken to the UAB Hospital along with a 17-year-old passenger whose name also wasn't released.

The Highway Patrol says the crash remains under investigation.
