Man perishes in Mobile-area fire

MOBILE, Ala. (AP) — A man has been killed in a house fire in the Mobile area.

The Mobile Press-Register reports that the blaze Saturday took the life of a man in the Alabama Port community of Mobile County.

Authorities did not immediately release the identity of the victim.
