MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) — An Alabama corrections official says authorities are searching for a man has escaped from a men's facility in Wetumpka.

Corrections spokesman Brian Corbett says inmate Shaun Tyler Miller went missing at 3:45 p.m. Friday from his job site at the Frank Lee Work Release. Miller could not be located after a search of the location.

Authorities say Miller is serving a life sentence for robbery after being sentenced in Baldwin County in 2003. Miller had a parole hearing scheduled for February 2012.

Authorities say Miller is a 5-foot-8 black male, weighs 182 pounds with brown eyes and black hair.
