MOBILE, Ala. (AP) — Rescue workers have recovered the bodies of two men who fell off a personal watercraft during an outing on the Dog River in Mobile County.

Officials said the bodies of 24-year-old Christopher Williams and 20-year-old Montrell Marks were recovered about 4 a.m. Tuesday. Friends notified officials about 7:30 p.m. Monday that the two had fallen off a personal watercraft, yelled for help, and disappeared. They were not wearing life jackets, and WALA-TV reports they could not swim.

Local law enforcement agencies were joined by the Alabama Marine Police and the U.S. Coast Guard in the search.
