Police: 25 arrested in west Alabama drug roundup
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) — Authorities say they've arrested 25 people in a drug roundup in west Alabama.
The West Alabama Narcotics Task Force and agencies from Tuscaloosa County served search and arrest warrants on Sunday. Agents went to 10 homes in all.
Authorities say the 25 people were charged with a total of 71 different offenses. Officers recovered drugs, weapons and money during the searches.
Police say they're still trying to locate more suspects.
