Ala parents charged with abuse; 3 kids taken

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (AP) — Authorities have arrested the parents of three Huntsville children on child abuse charges.

Police say three juveniles were showing signs of malnourishment and severe abuse when officials discovered them in their home.

WAFF-TV (http://bit.ly/Qc992i ) reports that all three children are now in custody of the Alabama Department of Human Resources, and the parents were arrested on three counts of child abuse.

Police haven't released the names of the parents.
