College president recovering from brain surgery

MOBILE, Ala. (AP) — University of South Alabama President Gordon Moulton is recovering from brain surgery.

Al.com reports (http://bit.ly/X9LGDJ ) that surgeons removed a tumor from the left front side of Moulton's brain on Sunday.

USA Director of Public Relations Keith Ayers says the surgery was successful and the tumor appears to be benign. Doctors have not said when Moulton will be able to return to work but expect him to make a full recovery.
