PRICHARD, Ala. (AP) — Pritchard City Council President Troy Ephriam was elected the suburban Mobile city's mayor Tuesday in one of three mayor's races delayed by Hurricane Isaac.

Ephriam received 67 percent of the vote to defeat incumbent two-term Mayor Ron Davis.

In the Baldwin County city of Bay Minette, attorney Bob Wills received 62 percent of the vote to defeat city council member Mike Phillips in the mayor's race.

The vote was so close in the south Mobile County town of Bayou La Batre that it may be at least a week before the winner is declared. Incumbent Mayor Stan Wright had a 12 vote lead over challenger Henry Barnes Jr. City officials said 30 provisional ballots were cast. A special city council meeting is to be called to consider those ballots.
