MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) — A blustery forecast is interfering with some Veterans Day activities in Alabama.

Rain was predicted across much of the state on Monday, and temperatures were supposed to be going down throughout the day. Wind-chill values will be in the upper 20s by early Tuesday in the Tennessee Valley.

Faced with the forcecast, WSFA-TV (http://bit.ly/SdwRuQ ) reports that officials in Montgomery decided to cancel the city's Veterans Day parade. A program and concert were rescheduled inside at the City Hall Auditorium.

No severe weather is expected.

Tuesday and Wednesday will be sunny, breezy, and cool. But temperatures are supposed to be back in the 70s by later in the week.
