Tuscaloosa accountant to lead BCA in 2013

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) — The Business Council of Alabama has elected Tuscaloosa accountant Carl Jamison to serve at its chairman for 2013.

Jamison is a shareholder in the accounting and tax firm JamisonMoneyFarmer. BCA President William Canary said Friday Jamison is the right person to lead the statewide business organization because he understands the importance of the private sector in growing and sustaining Alabama's economy.

The president of AT&T Alabama, Fred McCallum, was elected first vice chairman.
