Ala. woman arrested in Walmart assault, robberyGADSDEN, Ala. (AP) — Police in Gadsden say a 32-year-old woman has been arrested in connection with a robbery and assault that unfolded in a Walmart store last month. The Gadsden Times reports (http://bit.ly/138H6Yo ) Nephretaria Walker was arrested Thursday on robbery and assault charges stemming from an altercation she had with a loss prevention officer on Dec. 16. Police say Walker was shoplifting and was confronted by the officer near the store's front entrance. Authorities say Walker charged at the employee and slashed her in her chest and collarbone with a sharp object. Authorities are unsure of what Walker was armed with.
