DOTHAN, Ala. (AP) — Fire investigators have been unable to determine the cause of a blaze that killed two children in Dothan.

City Fire Marshal Chris Etheredge said investigators believe the fire started in a carport. But he said given the amount of damage, the exact cause cannot be identified.

The fire Monday evening killed 4-year-old Byron Harvey and 1-year-old Ariel Harvey.

The Dothan Eagle (http://bit.ly/W0asTL ) reports that 30-year-old Melissa Harvey, 30-year-old Jermaine Harvey and 59-year-old Leonard Harvey were seriously injured. All three of the injured were taken to hospitals for treatment.
