Overturned 18-wheeler leaks fuel onto Ala. highway

PRATTVILLE, Ala. (AP) — Officials in central Alabama say the eastbound lanes of U.S. Highway 82 near Cobbs Ford Road in Prattville are closed after an 18-wheeler overturned and leaked diesel fuel onto the highway.

The Montgomery Advertiser (http://on.mgmadv.com/10CUXbR) reports there were no injuries. Prattville police and firefighters, along with Autauga County Emergency Management Agency officials, responded to the crash.

The cause of the crash was unclear Thursday night and additional information was not immediately available.

Prattville is about 15 miles northwest of Montgomery.
