Reward offered in unsolved Birmingham slaying


BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AP) — Alabama Gov. Robert Bentley is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction in an unsolved murder. ( ) reports the reward is being added to a reward of up to $5,000 being offered by Crimestoppers in the death of Graylin Lewis, a cable installation technician who was robbed and fatally shot in a park.

Authorities say Lewis was homeless and slept with his truck windows rolled down on July 19. Officials say three men approached his truck, robbed him and shot him in the chest.

Police say the only clue that was left behind was a single shell casing on the ground near the man's truck.
