Montgomery police search for 18-year-old suspect

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) — An 18-year-old man is being sought in connection with a fatal shooting on MacLamar Road in Montgomery.

Police and fire department officials said they responded to a call shortly after midnight Sunday that a man had been shot multiple times. The victim's name was not immediately released. He died later Sunday at a local hospital.

The Montgomery Advertiser reported (http://bit.ly/T6Ejye ) that Crimestoppers said 18-year-old Michael Alexander Jr. had been accused in the shooting.

Police have not released the circumstances around the shooting.
