Ala. woman calls police after fighting intruderHUNTSVILLE, Ala. (AP) — Huntsville police are investigating after a woman reported scuffling with an intruder who broke into her home. Al.com reports (http://bit.ly/Wv4opV ) that police say the woman suffered only minor injuries in the confrontation. The woman told officers she was returning to her Bonnell Drive home at about 9 p.m. Friday when she found a man inside. Police say the woman, whose name was not released, managed to fight off the intruder. He fled from her home on foot. A police report says there were no signs the man forced his way into the home. No arrests had been announced Saturday. |
