Sheriff probes apparent home invasion

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) — Sheriff's officials in Montgomery County are investigating an apparent home invasion.

Authorities say the crime happened off of Booth Road in western Montgomery County.

Sheriff's officials say two men came into the home and demanded several items before fleeing. Neighbors tell WSFA-TV (http://bit.ly/WuHDDO) that the homeowner was shot in the leg.

Few other details were available early Monday.
