HARTSELLE, Ala. (AP) — Students at a north Alabama high school will begin attending classes at a new campus on Monday.

Hartselle High School begins moving in to its new building rather than waiting until the end of the academic year.

While students will have only eight weeks in the new building before summer break, officials say the unusual mid-year change was needed.

WAFF-TV (http://bit.ly/XRc7Mq ) reports that seventh and eighth graders are moving into the old Hartselle High School in August, and workers needed extra time to get the building ready.
