Ala. man fatally struck by train near Cullman

CULLMAN, Ala. (AP) — Authorities in Cullman County say a man who wandered from his home has been struck and killed by a train.

Sheriff Mike Rainey tells WBRC-TV (http://bit.ly/14mpc8r ) 74-year-old Wayne Wesley Floyd was fatally struck by a train early Friday morning.

Rainey says the man was hit in an area north of Cullman.
