BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AP) — Another employee has been fired after authorities say a secret video captured a worker taking an apparent payment in exchange for faster service in the tag office in Jefferson County.

County manager Tony Petelos tells WBRC-TV (http://bit.ly/16cDzxc) that two employees how now been terminated in the case, which remains under investigation.

A video obtained by the Birmingham station shows a female worker apparently taking $40 from a courthouse customer in exchange for faster service. The video appears to have been recorded by the customer.

Jefferson County is bankrupt, and residents often wait in line for hours at the tag office.

Revenue Director Travis Hulsey has offered to return $40 to the man who recorded the video.
