MOBILE, Ala. (AP) — Alabama authorities say a love triangle resulted in a man being cut on the wrist with a machete.

Mobile police Cpl. Christopher Levy tells WLOX-TV (http://bit.ly/13iJKtW ) that 51-year-old Eric McFadden of Mobile is accused of attacking another man when the victim accused McFadden of dating his wife while he was in prison.

Levy said McFadden grabbed a machete from his home and cut the victim across his wrist on Monday.

The victim had only minor injuries and was treated by paramedics.

McFadden was arrested and charged with second-degree assault.

It wasn't immediately clear if McFadden had an attorney. A number listed for McFadden was not in service.
