Ga. trucker killed in Ala. interstate crash

SHORTER, Ala. (AP) — Authorities have identified a trucker who died in a four-vehicle crash on a stretch of I-85 in western Alabama.

State troopers say 31-year-old Steven Fox, of Madison, Ga., died in the chain reaction crash near Shorter Wednesday morning. Three other drivers were injured. The crash scene is about 20 miles east of Montgomery.

Authorities say the crash involved two semi-trucks and two other vehicles.

Portions of the interstate were closed throughout the day while authorities investigated the crash. The cause of the accident wasn't immediately clear Wednesday afternoon.
