MIDLAND CITY, Ala. (AP) — Authorities say they're seeking the owner of a home in Midland City where more than 550 marijuana plants and multiple firearms were seized.

The Dothan Eagle reports (http://bit.ly/1cKQEvt) that members of a Dale County law enforcement task force confiscated the plants and weapons last week on Dale County road 63.

Wiregrass Violent Crimes and Task Force Commander Marlos Walker said a search warrant for the property was obtained following a tip that a large amount of marijuana was being produced at the home.

Walker said the marijuana alone was estimated to have a street value of more than $250,000 and represents one of the largest bust in Dale County history.

Authorities say they have a suspect, but had not yet located him.
