July 9. 10 a.m. COMMERCIAL JET FACILITY TOUR — Governor Robert Bentley will be in Dothan on Monday to meet with leaders of Commercial Jet and tour the company s new facility where hundreds of new jobs are being created for people in the Wiregrass.

Also on Monday, Governor Bentley will provide the luncheon address at the weekly meeting of the Dothan Rotary Club. Both events are open to the media.

July 10 - 14. ALL DAY. YOUNG REPUBLICAN CONVENTION — The National Federation of Young Republicans will hold their annual convention in Mobile July 10-14.

A vice chairman of the Young Republicans in Alabama, Daniel Dyas, says speakers will include Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul, Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal, and Alabama Gov. Robert Bentley.

The group covers ages 18 to 40. Dyas says about 500 members are expected for the convention in downtown Mobile.
