July 23. 9:15 a.m. BENTLEY-TALLAPOOSA COUNTY VISIT — Governor Robert Bentley on Tuesday will continue his Road to Economic Recovery Tour with a series of stops in Alexander City in Tallapoosa County. The purpose of the Road to Economic Recovery Tour is to visit communities and discuss local economic conditions and state-level efforts to attract more jobs to Alabama. Governor Bentley meets with area residents and business owners to discuss these topics and other issues of local importance

July 23. 10:30 a.m. SIERRA CLUB CONFERENCE CALL — The Sierra Club, the Environmental Integrity Project, Clean Water Action and Earthjustice Waterkeeper Alliance are having a conference call Tuesday to discuss how new rules from the EPA would help curb pollution from coal plants in Alabama, Colorado, Illinois, Kentucky, Michigan, Missouri, Montana, North Carolina, Nebraska, Pennsylvania, Tennessee and Texas.

The groups will outline the findings of the new report at 11:30 a.m. EDT on Tuesday, July 23, 2013 during a live, phone-based news conference with full Q&A. News event speakers will be:
