MARIETTA, Ga. (AP) — Authorities say a Cobb County man is charged with causing his sister's death by making her fall off his car.

Police say William Brock Dingler is charged with involuntary manslaughter and reckless conduct in the death of his 23-year-old sister, Laura Jane Dingler of Marietta.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution (http://bit.ly/18SorDe ) reports that a warrant shows the woman was on the back of a car when her younger brother started driving the vehicle.

Police say Dingler was tossed off the vehicle as it accelerated. The fall happened outside the family's home last Sunday night.

Dingler died from her injuries at a hospital.

Dingler attended Southern Polytechnic State University and would have graduated in the fall.

Her brother is free on $20,000 bond. Court records don't show if he has a lawyer.
