Aug. 2 - Sept. 2. 10 a.m. CHILD SUPPORT GUIDELINES — The Supreme Court of Alabama appoints the members of the Committee. The Committee s role is to review and make recommendations to the Supreme Court concerning the Child-Support Guidelines and Schedule of Basic Child-Support Obligations. At this meeting, the Committee will review and discuss the current Guidelines and Schedule.

Aug. 6. ALL DAY. SAFETY STAND DOWN — The U.S. Department of Labor s Occupational Safety and Health Administration, along with trade associations and employers throughout Georgia, Alabama, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee, will conduct a one-hour safety stand-down at construction sites and workplaces on Tuesday, Aug. 6. The stand-down supports OSHA s nationwide outreach campaign to raise awareness among employers and workers about the hazards of falls.
