Ala. police investigate fall as possible suicide
GULF SHORES, Ala. (AP) — Police in Gulf Shores say they are investigating a woman's fall from a condo balcony as a possible suicide.
AL.com reported Friday that Gulf Shores police spokesman Sgt. Jason Woodruff had identified the woman as 48-year-old Irene C. Trupp of Lillian.
WKRG-TV earlier reported that a passer-by leaving the condo found the woman's body on the ramp of a parking deck.
The death was the third fatal fall from a balcony in less than a month on Pleasure Island. Police say the other two cases appear to be accidental.
