Police investigate deadly shooting in Tuscaloosa


TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) — Police are investigating a shooting that claimed the life of a 28-year-old Tuscaloosa man.

Homicide investigators were called to the 1700 block of Kicker Road around 11:40 p.m. Sunday.

Police say the victim, Demetrius Strother, had gone to a neighbor's residence and told them he had been shot.

Al.com reports (http://bit.ly/1eWS5bs) that the neighbors took Strother to DCH Regional Medical Center, where he died a short time later.
